Our Wedding

Carolyn and Lenny met in October 2023 in the traditional way...on an app. Their first date was delayed for a few weeks while Carolyn was in North Carolina for a work trip and Lenny was in Virginia for his niece, Evelyn's, christening. After much anticipation they finally went on their first date for Lenny's favorite - Tapas. Carolyn knew he was the one when not only did he bring flowers for their first date but opened her car door (Carolyn's dad also knew he was the one when he heard this in her date recap). Over the next year Carolyn moved to North Reading with Lenny and his dog Rufio (much of the year being spent by Carolyn trying to win Rufio over with pup cups and table scraps). But they also spent time in Buffalo visiting Lenny's parents, Virginia with Lenny's sister and her family, Cape Cod with Carolyn's parents and a few trips to Cape Cod and Las Vegas. They knew they wanted to spend their lives together (Rufio's still deciding about Carolyn) but after determining Lenny couldn't just toss the ring at her while watching a Bills game or watching Hell's Kitchen, the day finally came on January 17th, 2025. Carolyn had just returned from a week long trip in exciting, tropical San Angelo, TX and ready for a nap but Lenny convinced her to take their dog, Rufio, on a walk in the park. In true Carolyn fashion, mid-walk, Carolyn had a nice tumble on some black ice and when Lenny went to see the damage, took Carolyn completely by surprise when she looked down and saw he wasn't looking at her knee but holding a ring. Carolyn and Lenny are so over the moon at spending the rest of their lives together and can't wait to celebrate with all of their Friends and Family on 11/15/2025!

What is the Dress Code? 

We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up for our big day. We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for the evening The ceremony and reception will be indoors but weather permitting (fingers crossed!) the cocktail hour will be outdoors. New England in November can be unpredictable - 80 degrees some days and 40 on others. We recommend you dress accordingly!

Are Kids Welcome? 

We love our little one's! However unfortunately due to the venue capacity we will only be including those little one's in our bridal party. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off as we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a Room Block?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name if you RSVP online (please edit your guest's name so we can welcome your Guest by the correct name) :)! Thank you for understanding!

What if I don't RSVP in Time? 

We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venue with exact numbers by a certain date, so please don't RSVP late!

We will be providing a shuttle service from the Double Tree Hotel departing promptly at 4:45pm ET from the lobby to St. Theresa’s and then on to the Ferncroft Country Club at the Ceremony end. Uber's and Lyft's are very available in the area A shuttle will begin running from 9:30pm until 11:30 from the Ferncroft to the Double Tree Danvers. Additionally, ample free parking is available at both the church and reception for those who to prefer to drive!
